Long day...it was rainy and overcast in the early morning, but we wanted to get over the hill and onwards so we waited until about 2pm when it burned off. The mist on the hill was incredible as we charged upwards. Covered another 47 miles and biked until near dark when we arrived in Rose Lodge. The Scenic Highway 101 was beautiful, but a bit lonely in the dusk hours. We spoke with some German cyclists who we continued to bump into throughout the day.
